Description
Typical autumn/summer cliff, as it is located at an altitude of 1000 meters on the side of Coscerno Mountain in Valnerina. The landscape saw from this cliff is one of the most beautiful in Umbria, overlooking the valley of the Nera and the surrounding mountains. Discovered and bolted in the ‘90s by Mimmo Scipioni from Terni with some climbers from Cascia, this cliff is unique in its kind as it has a very compact and extremely frictional limestone, but lack of hand-holds and foot-holds. \nHowever some routes are different and have some crimps. \nThe routes are length 20 meters in average. The place is very charming, excellent in spring and in autumn, but good even in summer and in winter if there is no wind and the sun. The place is suitable for families, remembering, however, that it is a cliff on the mountain. During the 2014 summer Gianni De Marchi, Marco Speziale and other people rebolted many routes of this crag.
