This winter the "Frostbite Society" went to San Vito lo Capo, and, as they usuali do where they go, did a substantial donation for the routes maintenance. We asked one of their members to talk about this cheerful brigade. Here is what Tim told us:
"We are a group of friends and outdoor enthusiasts from the Netherlands.
We jokingly call ourselves the 'Frostbite society', mainly because we like to have adventures in freezing environments."

"We wanted to make a donation, because we learned a lot of the bolting is privately funded. Furthermore, we would like to contribute to sustainable bolting in the form of titanium hardware, since steel wears out so fast at seaside crags. We hope a lot more people will donate to your cause and provide a sustainable, safe and enjoyable climbing climate for future generations."
Thanks guys for your social commitment and for the example you give. Keep it up. We wish you to explore many new places, to have a lot of fun and many new adventures!

A presto!
