Luigi Filocamo, chemist, researcher at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome, alpinist, ski-mountaineer and climber, during the last 35 years he climbed and skied many climbing routes in Appennini, Alps, South America, India, Iran and Greenland.
He is co-author of a ski-mountaineering guidebook for central Appennini (Tracce di Sci in Appennino), a ski-mountaineering manual edited by Mondadori and a multipitch climbing guidebook (GAETA CIRCEO LEANO SPERLONGA MONETA - Vie lunghe classiche e moderne) edited by Versante Sud.

CAI Instructor of mountaineering, ski-mountaineering and freeclimb, he directed many courses and also participates in the training of instructors of the CAI of Central and South-insular Italy. In recent years he has actively equiped new climbing routes in Calabria and Sicily, and is involved in the maintenance and recovery in the crags of Gaeta, Sperlonga and Monte Moneta (Lazio).
