Luigi Baratta, born in 1979, is a federal UISP and FASI climbing instructor and coach at the Wellness gym of Campobasso.
He started climbing in 2003, following a course of Riccardo Quaranta. He was immediately enthused and since then climbing has been his main passion.
He knows very well the climbing walls of Frosolone, and since he started climbing Colle dell’Orse became his second home. You can find him there while he’s climbing in free solo even in winter.
He learned the art of establishing the climbing routes from Riccardo Quaranta and Andrea Imbrosciano, and his second passion is finding new lines and new places for new lines.
Since he started climbing, he has helped the climbing development in his territory, and, in particular, has set many new lines and re-equipped many old ones (more than 100 in Frosolone, at now).
