Climbing near the Rifugio Viperella: Articles and Pics

Crag of Campo Staffi

It's a pleasant summer sport climbing spot, East faced, at almost 1840 meters above the sea level.

The routes are short, of low/medium difficulties, through excellent limestone with buckets and water erosion pockets, equipped with very close bolts.

The space under the routes it's a wide clearing, slightly downhill.  Just a few hundred meters, you can see (easily accessible) a small conifer woods and a beech forest.

Thus it's a climbing spot ideal for families with children and for beginners.
