Starting from the hut, You can reach the Placche dello Iaccetto di Capo Pezza (42°10'21.3"N 13°24’08.1"E).

It's a characteristic rampart of rock located above the "Iaccetto di Capo Pezza", in the center of the large amphitheater dominated by Punta Trento [Punta=Peak] and by the Passes of Colle dell’Orso and, a little farther to the right, by the Scoglio of Iaccetto di Capo di Pezza [Scoglio=Rock].

The rock is an excellent limestone, cut through many grooves, which promise an enjoyable climbing, on some short multi-pitches routes, recently equipped with bolts. At now, you can join the pitch up to get a total length of almost 300 meters.

You can reach these routes from the Hut, by a walk of about 40 minutes, going first toward Colle dell’Orso, and then turning toward Valle Cerchiata and Piani di Pezza.
