Placche di Acquasanta

The crag is recently bolted and is located near the historic Madonna D’Appari crag.

There is evidence of past bolting, likely much later than the 1960s when D. Alessandri first began equipping the historic sector.

It is assumed that the 'lower left slab (historic)', which already existed when work on the new crag began, was originally bolted by Fabrizio Pietropaoli and later re-bolted by the Alpini.

The new crag, specifically the sectors 'lower right slab', 'upper left slab', and the 'main sector', was completed in November 2022 by brothers Francesco and Luca Giuliani and by Lorenzo Santavicca.

WARNING: Most anchors are not equipped with carabiners (ring only). Knowledge of the 'cleaning the anchors' maneuver (manovra) is required for descent.
