The Mount Camicia (2564m) from the normal route, starting from Fonte Vetica [Fountain Vetica, n.d.t.].
the normal route to the Camicia is a quite comfortable path, well marked and without technical difficulty. It leads to the summit overcoming an altitude difference of about 1000 meters (10 Km roundtrip). The Camicia is the last (tiring) stretch of the "Sentiero del Centenario" [Centennial Path, n.d.t.], which crosses the long ridge from the Brancastello Mountain to the "Torri di Casanova" [Casanova Towers, n.d.t.], then the Infornace Mount, and the Prena and finally ends at Fonte Vetica (passing through the Camicia).
Unforgettable, at almost 2400 meters overlooking the precipice on the Northside of the mountain, with the round hills of the Teramo and the spur "Dente del Lupo" in the background. But the Northern face of the Camicia is a story for another day.
