The mysterious Valley Majelama, in the Natural Regional Park of Sirente-Velino, View from Punta [n.d.T Peak] Trieste. You can follow it from the small Town of Forme, following path n.8. The path starts right after the turistico sign of the Park, and goes along the Valley Majelama. Then it channels along the following Valley of Bicchero and ends at the intersection with path n. 1, coming from the Piani di Pezza Valley. If you continue southwards on path n.1 (the is on the left) you can get to Mount Bicchero (ca. 2208m), and then eventually continue up to Mounts Velino and Cafornia (long and demanding hike!). Alternatively, you can follow path n.1 northwards (on the right). in short, you arrive up to Punta [=Peak] Trento, and then, taking the path1G eastwards (to the right) go back crossing Punta [=Peak] Trieste. Once at Punta Trieste, continue on path 1G. Once at the Vado [=Pass] di Castellaneta (pointed by a sign), continue rightwards on the 1G, crossing the Valley della Grenta up to the Valley Majelama (and to the Path n.8).
