Born in 1961, I live in Campitello di Fassa (Dolomites) with my family.
Mountain guide since 1982, mountain guides instructor, ski instructor, federal coach and ISEF qualified trainer.
I’ve pursued full time the mountain guide profession, and I’m the director of the Mountaineering School “Alta Fassa Guides”.

I don’t prefer one particular branch of the mountaineering over the other: I’m rather an allrounder. My activity ranges from the classic trad and sport rock climbing to the ice-climbing and dry-tooling and to the expeditions in non-European countries.
In my alpinistic curriculum there are many multi pitches routes in Dolomites, in Alps, in Yosemite Valley (California), in Canada (Squamish), in Scotland (Ben Nevis) and in Norway, Greece, Spain, Sardinia and Sicily.
There are also many expeditions: Denali 6149m (Alaska), Ama Dablam 6828m, Cho Oyu 8201m, Manaslu 8163m, Cotopaxi 5897m and Chimborazo 6310m (Ecuador), Shivling 6580 (India), Pisco e Ishinka (Peru) and Patagonia.

In conclusion, I have a lot of experience, enthusiasm and passion to share.
I’ve established many climbing spots in Dolomites (among which the most famous are Pian Schiaveneis and Cittá dei Sassi in Passo Sella) and opened some sport multi pitches routes.
