Mirko Cangiamila lives in Palermo, where he was born. He works as a live sound technician for documentaries and cinema.

He started climbing in 2010, and immediately he was enthused by the mountaineering and the climbing activities. He equipped many climbing routes and the crag of Uqbar, in Palermo. He taught in a gym as UISP vice instructor.
