PIetramaura

The crag of Pietramaura is located at an altitude of more than 1000 meters, in a mountainous area of great naturalistic and hiking interests.

Some unknown climbers discovered its walls and set the first climbing routes (that by now should be revamped). Andrea Imbrosciano, recently, set in this spot three climbing areas, with routes of low, medium and medium/high difficulties. There are also two sport multi pitches of low/medium level.

The climbing style is various: there are both slabs and overhangs.

The hardest routes are short and bouldery. The easier ones, instead, are from 20 to 30 meters long.

The ideal climbing season is from April to October.

The approach is quite comfortable, and the bottom of the routes is wide and suitable for families  with children.

To climb the routes you need a rope at least 70 meters long. We recommend the use of the helmet.
